Distinction Hotels New Zealand rejoin the battle

Following on from their sponsorship of a Kepler bat research project in 2011/12, Distinction Hotels NZ have committed to another project and an even greater level of funding. The Trust is very aware that the long-term projects need long-term sponsorship. Geoff Thomson, Distinction Hotels’ managing director, understands this also. It is reflected in their new funding commitment to the Kids Restore the Kepler project of $20,000 per annum for the next 3 years, with the right of renewal in 2016.

Distinction Hotels comes into the Kepler project as a second-tier funder. It means that together with Air NZ’s Kids Restore NZ, almost 80% of the estimated ongoing costs of the KRTK project will be covered.
